I really like this artist's use of colour as the bold lines and bright choices complement the happy emotions and fit with the cute cartoon style-personally this interests me as I would like to work on using more cartoon styles in my own work and may use this artist as inspiration

I like this image as its very symmetrical and professionally composed together. For example, the food on the girl's head adds interest to the top of the image while the main features are placed around the centre and then towards the bottom more food details are added across the table. This effectively keeps the image engaging as theres lots to look at - this may be a considerate factor of the artist's audience (As Kim has said she likes to draw for younger audiences) and is therefore successful.
I also like how the image is representative of her culture, in this project during some of the tasks I have been asked to think about my own background and self-image that I want to portray so using food or various cultural symbolism in my art like Kim may also be helpful in developing my work.
