Through a lens - visual mindmap

Visual  Mindmap

This mindmap acted as a way of generating ideas around the new project with connections to ideas about self-image and how you see yourself while keeping it mainly visual and expressive through my drawings.
I wanted the overall structure of the page to be quite messy like myself but keeping the mindmap structure in place loosely by adding a rough abstract sketch of myself in the centre as a starting point. To develop the mindmap further I wrote some questions that were prompted by the project brief video slides such as 'how do you want to be perceived? ' or listed keywords linked to my hobbies and interests such as fashion, design, photography. As I went around the page I continue to add both words and images connected to my ideas.

Overall this task was quite enjoyable as mindmaps help me to generate ideas and it was fun to add drawings related to myself such as flags and mini drawings of me doing various activities. However, to improve this task I would like to focus on making it more sophisticated and spending more time on the activity to ensure it is a higher quality piece of work.
